The 2017 Festival is a “Celebration of Guitar” featuring 11 internationally acclaimed artists in nine concerts, five Masterclasses, two guitar auctions, a free guitar orchestra concert, an exhibit of guitar-themed art, and 40 Luthiers (guitar makers) showing their hand-made instruments in the Vendor Fair.


Don't Miss the Opening Night Concerts!
The 2017 Festival is dedicated to the American maestro, Christopher Parkening, who will receive the La Guitarra Lifetime Achievement Award on Opening Night. The evening begins with a concert by the Russian virtuoso, Rovshan Mamedkuliev. After a short intermission, a video presentation honoring Parkening's life and music. Then a short performance by Maestro Parkening and the renowned baritone, Jubilant Sykes.
