Festival Master Classes
Master Classes are made possible by
The Gerry and Peggy Peterson La Guitarra Education Fund
We urge our attendees to see a Master Class, and observe the students playing a piece and receiving valuable insight and instruction from the world's foremost teachers. See firsthand what it takes to perform at the concert level.
Since 1999, the price to see a Master Class has remained just $10.
Our friendly and informal Master Classes are open to students of all ages and levels. Each class is limited to four students and lasts a total of two hours; so each student receives 25-30 minutes with the teacher.
Each student receives a Certificate of Accomplishment diploma signed by the teacher, and all 20 students will be acknowledged in our Festival Souvenir Program.
The cost is $75, and includes two $10 tickets to that class.
This year's classes are conducted by an outstanding group of distinguished teachers:
Scott Tennant, Andrew York, Berta Rojas, Bill Kanengiser, and Adam del Monte.
Friday 2:00pm: Andrew York
Friday 4:30pm: Berta Rojas
Saturday 9:00am: Scott Tennant
Sunday 9:00am: Bill Kanengiser
Sunday 11:30am: Adam del Monte
